Abstract
In the context of deepening globalization processes and increasing competition in international capital markets, attracting foreign investment is becoming an important part of the economic development strategy of countries. Foreign capital inflows, in addition to being an additional source of financial resources for the national economy, create opportunities for the introduction of modern technologies, increasing production efficiency, creating new jobs, expanding export potential, and integrating into international production chains. Therefore, increasing the country's investment attractiveness is an important condition for attracting foreign capital on a sustainable and long-term basis. In Uzbekistan, reforms aimed at liberalizing the economy, liberalizing the foreign exchange market, creating favorable conditions for entrepreneurial activity, developing public-private partnerships, and protecting the rights of investors are creating an important institutional framework for increasing foreign capital inflows. However, increased competition among foreign investors requires the country to constantly improve the investment climate. In particular, strengthening macroeconomic stability, strengthening legal guarantees, reducing bureaucratic barriers and developing infrastructure are urgent tasks.
