Abstract
This scientific thesis examines the theoretical, organizational, and practical aspects of improving the management mechanisms of higher education institutions. In the modern higher education system, management effectiveness is an important factor in ensuring the quality of education, developing research activities, using human resources rationally, introducing digital technologies, and increasing the competitiveness of educational institutions. The study analyzes the importance of strategic management, results-oriented management, digital transformation, academic management, human capital development, cooperation with stakeholders, and internal quality assurance mechanisms. In the theory of strategic management, defining an organization’s long-term goals and allocating available resources in accordance with these goals are regarded as important conditions for sustainable development (Mintzberg, Ahlstrand & Lampel, 2009).
