Abstract
The services sector is one of the most important components of the modern economy. It includes a wide range of activities such as trade, transport, tourism, banking, finance, education, healthcare, information technology, communication, and professional services. The development of this sector contributes significantly to economic growth, employment creation, improvement of living standards, and increased competitiveness of national economies.
In recent decades, technological progress, digitalization, globalization, and changes in consumer demand have significantly transformed the services sector. Businesses are increasingly required to provide faster, more convenient, affordable, and high-quality services. Therefore, improving the efficiency of the services sector has become an important economic priority.
The purpose of this paper is to examine the main factors influencing the development and efficiency of the services sector and to identify effective measures for improving its performance. Particular attention is paid to digital technologies, human capital, service quality, innovation, and effective management.
